It was 1962 when Winfred and Sue Harrell started the nursery in their backyard in Plant City.
Over the years, they continued to grow, purchasing ten to twenty acres at a time as opportunities opened. They built their success on a simple foundation: providing quality crops, maintaining long-term dedicated staff, and making customer satisfaction their first priority.
What started as a backyard operation specializing in Azaleas grew into one of Florida’s oldest and largest nurseries. Today, we operate on more than 350 acres with 140 employees, many who have been with the company for twenty to thirty-five years.
We’ve expanded our reach across states, regions, and even internationally to Puerto Rico and the Bahamas. But we’ve never lost sight of what Winfred and Sue knew from the beginning: with hard work, special care, and innovative techniques, you can provide clients with the finest healthy and hardy plants that can be grown.
Now, three generations later, we’re still family-owned, still growing in Plant City, and still putting customer satisfaction first.
